Peter S. Beagle
Novelist
An American fantasy novelist, he is best known for The Last Unicorn. He won the World Fantasy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2011.
He wrote his first novel, A Fine and Private Place, at the young age of nineteen.
He won both the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award.
He was born in Manhattan, New York to Rebecca Soyer and Simon Beagle.
He studied alongside Ken Kesey at Stanford University.
