Pavlo Klimkin

Diplomat who made a name for himself as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine from 2014-19. Previously, he worked as the Deputy Foreign Minister in the First Azarov Government of Ukraine and as the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's Director for their European Union department.
He earned a degree in physics and mathematics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1991.
He served as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany beginning in 2012.
His father's name is Anatolii. He has 2 sons from his marriage to his first wife Natalia. His second wife's name is Maryna.
He held a cabinet position during the reign of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
