Professional hurling right corner-back known for excelling at the position for both Danesfort and Kilkenny, winning more than half a dozen inter-county titles.
He won a junior county championship with Danesfort in 2006, the same year he started playing for Kilkenny's youth team. He joined the senior Kilkenny team in 2009.
He's a military policeman, serving in the Defence Forces. He earned his first hurling All-Star selection in 2011.
His connections to Kilkenny hurling started with his father, Tommy, who was involved with the club in the 1980s. He has a sister named Katie.
He and Henry Shefflin during the latter's career with Kilkenny.
