Music Producer
Known for his work with such acclaimed artists and bands as Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp and The Fray and Okkervil River, this music producer, sound engineer, and songwriter also had a career as a vocalist, performing with a 1980s punk band called Zero Boys.
He began performing with Zero Boys when he was just seventeen years old. The band's first album, Vicious Circle, became one of the best-known punk rock albums of its era.
In the early 2000s, he became a teacher of Kundalini Yoga and took on the name of Mahan Kalpa Singh.
He and his seven older siblings grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois.
He sound engineered How to Save a Life, a double platinum, Grammy-nominated album recorded by Isaac Slade and The Fray.
