He played basketball growing up, earning himself full athletic scholarships in high school and university. When he was 17, he took his first modeling job after being discovered on TV playing basketball. Once he realized he could make a career out of modeling, he chose that over basketball.
He has a bachelor's in physical education and sport.
He has a younger sister, Christy, born in 2002.
He is close with Andrea Bezdekova, Miss Czeck 2016.
