Patrick Njoroge
Economist
Kenyan economist and banker who is best recognized for his work as the governor of the Central Bank of Kenya. He is also known for having been appointed to the United Nations' Task Force on Digital Financing of Sustainable Development Goals.
He attended Strathmore College and later the University of Nairobi where he earned his degree in Economics. He then went on to earn his Master's and later hid Doctor of Philosophy from Yale University.
He is also known for his work as a member of the Regional Consultative Group for Sub Saharan Africa.
He was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya.
He was appointed by Antonio Guterres to serve on the United Nations' Task Force on Digital Financing of Sustainable Development Goals.
