Lebanese-born Canadian who was known for playing keyboards, synthesizers, and the talk box in the music duo Chromeo. The band's song "Night by Night" achieved over four million views on YouTube after being uploaded in December 2009.
He and David Macklovitch met in the 1990s at College Stanislas in Montreal. They would joke about being the only successful Arab/Jewish partnership in human history.
He received an MTV Video Music Awards nomination in 2008.
His parents raised him in Lebanon before relocating to Canada when he was an adult.
He and Nikki Yanofsky were both musicians from Montreal.
