Famous as the founder and CEO of the technology and payment company Stripe. He co-founded the company with his younger brother John in 2010, and subsequently became the then-youngest self-made billionaire with his brother in November 2016.
He began learning computer programming at age 10. He would later study at Massachusetts Institute of Technology before dropping out.
He won the Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in 2005 at age 16. He was interviewed at WIRED25 in October 2018.
His parents' names are Lily and Denis. He has another younger brother named Tommy.
He received backing for Stripe from Elon Musk.
