Spanish pop and flemenco singer who became a national sensation with the release of Platinum-selling albums like 2001's Corazon Congelado and 2002's Deseo. She represented her native Spain at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Quedate Conmigo."
She was born in Coria del Rio and signed her first record deal with Polygram in 1994.
She announced that she was putting her career on hold to battle stage fright issues after fainting during a concert in March 2014.
Her birth name is Pilar Sanchez Luque.
Her fourth album, Corazon Congelad, was produced by Carlos Jean.
