She attended Dongduk Women's University studying Broadcasting.
She was one of the original members of Dal Shabet forming in 2011. She and the group were featured in an episode of Weekly Idol.
She was born and raised in Korea.
She appeared in My Love from the Star alongside Kim Soo-hyun.
