His acting career began in 2004 starring in the romantic comedy My Little Bride and appearing in the television show N 5.
Some popular Korean shows he has starred in include Bad Family, Unstoppable Marriage, and Empress Cheonchu.
He was born and raised in South Korea.
In the 2008 SBS television series Painter of the Wind, he appeared opposite Moon Geun-young and Park Shin-yang.
