Pop Singer
Born Park Ji-young, she is an award winning pop singer, actress, and dancer. She was the leader of the K-Pop girl group After School from 2009 to 2013.
She began her professional career in 2000 as a dancer, but would transition into a singer by 2006. She was then signed by Pledis Entertainment group who groomed her as a performer and eventually placed her in After School.
She kicked off her solo career in 2011 with the single "Come Back, You Bad Person." Kahi would soon venture into TV work as well.
She raised by her grandparents in Daegu, South Korea. She married Yang Jun-mu in 2016.
She spent the early years of her career as a back-up dancer, first working with singer BoA, who many consider to be the Queen of K-Pop.
