Most well known for her portrayal of cheerleading captain Amy Wright on the NBC teen comedy series Hang Time, she is also notable for her appearances on Scrubs, The Young and the Restless, and Saul of the Mole Men.
A contestant in numerous child beauty pageants, she continued modeling in her early adulthood years and was featured in Maxim magazine.
She appeared with Carmen Electra in the 2008 comedy movie Meet the Spartans.
Born to Bob and Tracy Peterson, she and her brothers, Jared and Ryan, spent their youth in the cities of Lawrence and Topeka, Kansas.
She and Daniella Deutscher were both series regulars on Hang Time.
