Uruguayan professional football player who is known for his work as a left-back on several club teams including Danubio and Penarol. He is also known for gaving played on the Uruguay national team from 2001 until 2007.
He started his career playing on the Danubio FC youth team. He then made his professional debut in 2001 for the Danubio club. He gained further attention in 2007 when he joined the Velez Sarsfield club within the Primera Division Argentina.
He is known for having won the Primera Division Uruguaya Championships both in 2004 and again in 2006 as part of the Danubio club team.
He was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay.
He joined the Velez Sarsfield Club at the request of then team manager Ricardo Lavolpe.
