Cyclist who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. In 2017, she was New Zealand keirin champion. She passed away at home in Cambridge on the evening of August 9, 2021. Her last Instagram post was about the stress and pressure of being a performance athlete.
She attended Middleton Grange School.
At the 2017 Oceania Track Championships, she placed second.
She is survived by her parents, Philip and Nienke Podmore, as well as her older brother, Mitchell.
Laura Trott also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
