He studied at Liverpool Theatre School before beginning his professional career in musical theatre.
In 2016, he performed as a singer in the television documentary West Side Stories: The Making of a Classic.
Originally from Warrington, he later lived in London, England. He has a brother named Andrew. He has dated Carrie Hope Fletcher.
Samantha Womack and Les Dennis appeared with him in the stage tour production of The Addams Family.
