An actor and host, he is most known for his late-night program Zaga.
In 1989 he graduated from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, where he obtained his Master's in Fine Arts.
In addition to his hosting accomplishments, he was also awarded the Sadri Alışık Best Actor Award in 1997 for his performance in the film Istanbul Kanatlarımın Altında.
He was born-and-raised in Istanbul.
He and guitarist Cem Koksal are both originally from Istanbul.
