She is an alumnus of The Second City Chicago and Detroit Mainstages.
In 2003, she was awarded The Joseph Jefferson award for Best Comedic Actress for her work at The Second City Chicago.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan as one of five children. She married Joshua Funk in 2000, and together they have a daughter named Ziza and a son named Moze.
She joined Whose Line is it Anyway? when Aisha Tyler became the host.
