Nur Masalha
Non-Fiction Author
Author who directed the Centre for Religion and History and the Holy Land Research Project at St. Mary's University College. His nonfiction works-- including The Zionist Bible: Biblical Precedent, Colonialism and the Erasure of Memory-- focus on Middle Eastern history and modern political conflict.
He studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He subsequently worked as both a professor of religion and politics and as a historian.
He established and edited Holy Land Studies: A Multidisciplinary Journal.
He was born and raised in Galilee, Israel, but he identified as a Palestinian.
He and Noam Chomsky became friends.
