He graduated from the University of Southern California film program.
He has also worked as a producer, producing the 1999 film "Happy Texas".
He is the brother of award-winning stage actress Betty Buckley.
He directed actress Sasha Pieterse on the hit ABC Family series "Pretty Little Liars".
