Former soccer striker who later served as chairman of OFI Crete.
He spent his youth career with OFI Crete, making his professional debut with the team in February 1991, playing in 154 games and scoring 48 goals.
He was awarded the European Golden Boot after scoring 34 goals across 32 games in the 1997-1998 season with Vitesse.
His family was residing in Heraklion, Crete, when he was born.
He and fellow Greek footballer Akis Zikos were teammates on the Greek national team.
