Former professional women's basketball player who made three WNBA All-Star teams as a member of teams like the Washington Mystics and Phoenix Mercury. She also won gold medals representing the United States at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games.
She was a dominant guard at the University of Tennessee, winning the Southeastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year award.
She was named Most Valuable Player of the short-lived American Basketball League for the 1996-97 season.
She has son named Thomas Nikson Penson with Thomas Penson.
She and Crystal Langhorne were both WNBA All-Stars as members of the Washington Mystics.
