Nigel Clough

English soccer player who played in more than 400 matches with Nottingham Forest and won Football League Cup titles with the club in 1989 and 1990. He later became a successful manager, winning the 2013-14 FA Cup Manager of the Season award with Sheffield United.
He was born in Sunderland, England and became an apprentice at Nottingham Forest in 1982. He joined the club's senior squad 2 years later.
With 131 goals scored, he retired as the second-leading goal-scorer in Nottingham Forest history.
He played under his father, manager Brian Clough, at Nottingham Forest.
He has managed Scottish midfielder Stefan Scougall at Sheffield United.
