Nicola Formichetti
Fashion Designer
Italian-Japanese fashion designer and creative director. He's notably known for creating the meat dress worn by Lady Gaga at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. He also worked as an artistic director for Diesel and Mugler.
He began working as a stylist and later became an art director for a boutique called The Pineal Eye. In 2005, he worked as a fashion director for the magazine Dazed & Confused.
He styled the model Irina Lazareanu for MAC's Quite Cute collection.
His father was an Italian pilot and his mother was a Japanese flight attendant.
He has worked with Brooke Candy, Terry Richardson, Hedi Slimane, Steven Klein, and more.
