Nick Cross
Cartoonist
Known for such non-studio-affiliated works of animation as Pig Farmer and The Waif of Persephone, he also art directed a Cartoon Network series called Over the Garden Wall.
Early in his career, he directed the first episode of a Nickelodeon series called Pig Goat Banana Cricket.
His animated television program Over the Garden Wall premiered in 2014 and featured the voice acting work of Hollywood actor Elijah Wood.
He was born in the Toronto suburb of Brampton, Ontario.
His wife, fellow cartoonist Marlo Meekins, also had a notable career as a comedienne.
