Emperor
Last Emperor of Russia who reigned from 1894 to 1917. He was intheirly executed during the Russian Revolution on charges of treason and due to the unpopularity of the first World War and Russia's defeat in the Russo-Japanese War.
He had an affair with the ballet dancer Mathilde Kschessinska while he was Tsesarevich.
He was nicknamed Bloody Nicholas because of his violent initiatives which included his anti-Semitic pogroms, Bloody Sunday, and the Khodynka tragedy.
He became engaged to his German second cousin Alexandra Feodorovna in 1894; they married the same year.
His monarchy was succeeded by the dictatorship of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.
