Actor who has gained widespread recognition for his recurring role as Roger Kressler on the hit TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He began playing the character in 1999, and has appeared in more than 20 episodes since.
He graduated from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City. He earned his first on-screen credit for his work on the 1980 action film The Exterminator.
He appeared as Fred Strozzi in the 1996 crime/western drama film Last Man Standing, and as Al on the 2020 Apple TV+ series Little Voice.
He grew up in the Riverdale section of the Bronx in New York City, New York.
He appeared in the Clint Eastwood films Million Dollar Baby and Flags of Our Fathers.
