Veteran film and television actor who won an IFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance on the show An Klondike. He has held lead roles in shows titled Banished and Dickensian and played a major supporting part in Peaky Blinders. His biggest feature film role was as Tommy in Tyrannosaur.
His career as an actor began around 1996, when he had a minor role in a short film called Quickfix. He started to find his footing as an actor in 1998 when he was seen in the film The General and on the TV show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog.
He has smaller roles in major films like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, Sherlock Holmes, Reign of Fire, King Arthur, and Robin Hood.
He is an Irish actor.
