Neal Adams

New York-born comic book artist best known for his contributions to the Batman, Green Arrow, and Superman DC Comics series.
Early in his career, he worked for the Johnstone and Cushing advertising agency and for the United Media comics syndication company.
He co-founded a Los Angeles and New York-based design and illustration studio called Continuity Associates.
He was born into a Jewish family in New York City. With his wife Marilyn, he had three sons, all of whom grew up to be artists.
He fought a legal battle on behalf of Superman co-creators Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, ultimately winning for both men their deserved share in decades of DC Comics revenue.
