NBA center known for his defense and rebounding. He played for the Atlanta Hawks from 2001 to 2004, then helped the San Antonio Spurs win an NBA Championship in 2005.
He played 3 years of college basketball at Kentucky, winning NCAA Championships in 1996 and 1998.
He was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 1998 but traded on draft day to the Philadelphia 76ers.
He married Mandy Mohammed in 2001 and the couple had two daughters, Amani and Sanaa, and a son, Nasir, together.
He won an NBA Championship in 2005 with Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs.
