Singer-songwriter who shot to stardom after winning the BBC Asian Network's "Unsung" singing competition in 2005. Since then, he has won over legions of fans off the strength of number one singles like "Aaja" and "Mehbooba."
At 19, he was able to showcase his talents to the world while representing the United Kingdom on the musical game show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa."
In 2013, he became the first British-Asian singer to personally perform for the British Royal Family.
He grew up with sisters.
He released the song "Fade Away" in June 2009 as a tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
