Afro-soul sensation who went viral for his hit "Nomvula," which became the unofficial national anthem for South Africans. He was deemed the king of the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards after winning several awards at the event.
He knew he wanted to be a singer from the age of 10. He won a local singing competition called Dare to Dream in 2012.
His hit song "Nomvula" was named Song of the Year by Metro FM and his album Buyelekhaya went triple platinum.
He and his five siblings were raised by their mother Nothembile in Cape Town, South Africa. His younger sister Amanda also sings.
His hit "Nomvula" was remixed by rapper Kwesta and NaakMusiQ.
