Percussionist who has become renowned for his use of non-traditional percussion instruments. He is known for his work with acclaimed groups like Snarky Puppy and is one half of the musical duo Ghost-Note.
He began taking orchestral percussion lessons at age eight. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006.
For his performance on Snarky Puppy's album 2013 Family Dinner - Volume 1, he received a Grammy for Best R&B Performance.
He has an older brother named Nick.
He has worked with A Tribe Called Quest rapper Q-Tip.
