Race Car Driver
Race car driver who has raced on behalf of the renowned Qatar World Rally Team. He garnered acclaim as the back-to-back WRC-2 champion in 2014 and 2015, and won his 13th Middle East Rally Championship in 2018.
He first began competing in the Middle East Rally Championship in 2003, winning in his rookie season. He later won the Production World Rally Championship in 2006.
He won the bronze medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics men skeet event. He won his third Dakar Rally title in 2019.
His cousin is the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. He is a sheikh.
He and Sebastien Loeb competed against one another at the 2019 Dakar Rally.
