Naoya Tsukahara
Gymnast
Gymnast who was part of a gold medal winning Japanese team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
He made his Olympic debut in 1996 when he was just 19-years old.
His best performance as an individual came at the 1999 World Championships, when he won silver medals in both the parallel bars, and the all-around competition.
His father, Mitsuo Tsukahara, was an Olympic gold medalist.
At the 2004 Olympics he helped Japan narrowly defeat a US team led by Paul Hamm.
