She was studying gastronomy, particularly with an emphasis in pastry skills, at the Culinary Institute of Mexico in Monterrey when she joined the cast of MasterChef.
She has become incredibly popular on social media with more than 10,000 dedicated Twitter followers.
She didn't have permission from her father to enter the MasterChef competition, however, despite this, their conflict was resolved. She is the youngest of three brothers.
She competed on the first season of MasterChef Mexico, a series presented by Anette Michel.
