Nadine Bargery Dorries

United Kingdom Conservative Party politician and Member of Parliament for the Mid Bedfordshire constituency. She assumed her House of Commons seat in 2005; previously, she had worked as an adviser to fellow Conservative politician Oliver Letwin.
Before entering politics, she worked as a nurse in Liverpool, England, and also headed a school in Zambia.
A social as well as a political conservative, she opposed same sex marriage and also sought to narrow the window for abortions (from twenty-four weeks of pregnancy down to twenty weeks).
She and her husband, Paul Dorries, raised three daughters before divorcing in 2007.
She and fellow Member of Parliament George Galloway both appeared in reality television shows (I'm a Celebrity. . . Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother, respectively).
