Argentine singer, actress and dancer who became an icon for works like Nacha sings Benedetti and Las Mil y Una Nachas. She is known for her work in films like El Lado Oscuro del Corazon 2, where she played the embodiment of Death.
She got her start performing in the Buenos Aires area in the late 60's.
She fled Argentina after the theater in which she was set to perform the revue Las Mil y Una Nachas was bombed by the Triple A death squad.
Her birth name is Clotilde Acosta.
She supported the campaign of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in 2009.
