Myriam Ullens
Entrepreneur
German entrepreneur and philanthropist. She started her first business when she was 24 - La Petite Salade, a salad delivery service. She sold it after four years, and immediately afterwards started Sweetly, a pastry shop in Brussels. She has built multiple schools and orphanages in Nepal, a breast cancer foundation with several centers, and the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing.
She studied at a boarding school in Namur, Belgium, from the age of 5.
She launched her own fashion label, Maison Ullens, in 2009.
She married Baron Guy Ullens in 1999. She has two children from a previous marriage and several grandchildren.
In January 2018 Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron visited and honored the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art.
