Captain Zoom is a retired superhero but when he starts to work as a professor at a private academy, he teaches the rag-tag group of superheros in training and they get him back in the game.

The film is based on the children's book, Amazing Adventures from Zoom's Academy by Jason Lethcoe. The film was shot in Ontario and Arizona.
