When a gymnast is cut from the Olympic team, she tries her hand at horseback riding. It is director Joel Paul Reisig's third film based around horses following the 2016 releases Rodeo Girl and Horse Camp.

Sophie Bolen had previous movie experience working with horses as she played the lead in Reisig's 2016 film Rodeo Girl.
