Musical television special based on the hit 1977 Broadway musical Annie. An 11 year-old orphan named Annie is adopted by the billionaire Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks. This angers the overprotective Miss Hannigan who vows to get her back.

Trivia

The musical is based on Harold Gray's classic comic strip Little Orphan Annie. The made-for-tv special was directed by Lear deBessonet and Alex Rudzinski.
