She provides her voice for the character Gideon on the TV series The Flash.
She was married to director Austin Chick from 2011 to 2015. In March 2016, she welcomed a daughter named Frances with her Gotham co-star Ben McKenzie. The couple later married in June 2017. They welcomed a son named Arthur in March 2021.
She appeared in the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother alongside Jason Segel.
