Monique Lamoureux-kolls
Hockey Player
Women's hockey forward who won silver medals representing the U.S. at the 2010 and 2014 Olympic Games. She would score the game-typing goal in the final of the 2018 Winter Olympics, enabling the U.S. to clinch the gold. She has also won gold at the IIHF World Women's Championships in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
She played on a boys team called the Wheat Kings at age twelve.
She won the Directorate Award for Best Forward at the 2011 IIHF Women's World Championship.
She has competed alongside her twin sister, Jocelyne Lamoureux, who actually scored the last shootout goal of the final of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
She was teammates with Hilary Knight on the American team at the 2014 Olympics.
