He was a standout player at Wesley College, and captained Australia's team at the 2009 U-19 World Cup.
He made his international ODI debut on October 19, 2011, versus South Africa.
His father, Geoff Marsh, played and coached Australia's national team.
His brother, Shaun Marsh, is also an accomplished cricketer.
