Deemed one of the Country Music Association's "Who New To Watch Artists" for 2014, he burst onto the country music scene upon releasing his first hit single "Ain't My Fault." He followed up with the single "My Girl's Hand."
He first picked up a guitar following a traumatic knee injury which limited his ability to play sports. His father handed him that guitar and said to his son "Let's see what you can do."
His fans are known as #Rowdies.
He is from southeast Iowa. He is close with his father, Joe Goudy.
He has been called "the new Brad Paisley" by many, as well as "the mainstream Michael Buble."
