Actress who played Kelly Kapoor on the hit sitcom The Office before starring in her own television show, The Mindy Project. She also voices characters in the films Despicable Me, Wreck-It Ralph and Inside Out.
Born Mindy Chokalingam, she joined an improvisational comedy troupe called The Dog Day Players while attending Dartmouth College.
In the 2011 film No Strings Attached, she played the roommate of Natalie Portman's character.
Her parents named her after the TV show Mork & Mindy. She welcomed a daughter named Katherine in December 2017. Her son Spencer was born on September 3, 2020.
She co-starred on her own comedy on Fox called The Mindy Project alongside Chris Messina.
