Min Aun Hlaing

Former Burmese army general, commander in chief of defensive services, joint chief Ministry of Defense and Chairman of the State Administration Council of Myanmar. He was promoted to the ranks of a five-star general in 2013.
He began serving as a member of the Myanmar Army in 1974.
He has received many prestigious awards during his highly decorated military career, including his medal for The Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand.
He is a native of modern day Dawei, Myanmar. He and his wife, Kyu Kyu Hla, have three children together.
He shares a July 3 birthday with Patrick Wilson and Mateo Haack.
