American vocalist who became part of The Lennon Sisters family music group after replacing her sister, Peggy, following Peggy's retirement in the 1990s. Her sisters' original music group had risen to fame as a result of numerous appearances on The Lawrence Welk Show.
She grew up in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles, California and attended Catholic school during her youth.
She and her sisters were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001.
She and her ten siblings were born into a family of German, Irish, and Mexican-American descent.
She was inspired by the career of singer Patti Page.
