An English comedian known for his frequent performances at The Comedy Store in London. He's also a radio host for BBC Radio 4 and is a recurring guest panelist on the TV show Mock the Week. His puns, one-liners and jokes delivered in deadpan style earned him the Perrier Comedy Award for Best Newcomer in 1996.
He attended Middlesex Polytechnic where he received his degree in dramatic art in 1985.
In 2009, he released a novel called "Where Do Comedians Go When They Die?: Journeys of a Stand-Up," which he described as a surrealist and semi-autobiographical book.
He was born and raised in London and he eventually settled down there with his wife and their three kids.
He began working closely with Dana O'Briain on the celebrity panel game show Mock the Week.
